Bent Rushmore is an artist out of Tallinn, Estonia. For close to two decades he has drawn strange, slightly grotesque faces into little black sketchbooks, one face at a time. Together they became a body of work he calls the Rushmore Family, first shown by Martin Saar in 2018 and, in 2026, painted up to wall size on canvas in black and white. He is also a musician, working in blues and electronic. He grew up in Soviet-era Estonia DJing his father’s smuggled vinyl, co-founded the band Köömes in 2006 (now a six-piece, four albums, airplay on Estonian radio), and early in 2026 wrote his first film score, for the Estonian short Idioot.
