About this work
I have always imagined that the people in all my drawings and paintings are related. Hence the notion that this is The Rushmore Family. Maybe even a royal family, or “aristocrats”, as the famous joke goes. Every family has a bunch of interesting characters from all walks of life, and this fictitious one is no different.
I sometimes imagine the country they come from and the professions they might have. Some of them are brothers, like these two.
